Album Description

T W Oliver (aka Tim Oliver) is a busy freelance musician & composer working in London, UK. After a formal classical training, he worked his way through many different pop genres, picking up an obsession with synthesisers on the way.

A vastly experienced session keyboard player, performing with artists such as Lady Gaga, Pixie Lott, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Boy George, Neneh Cherry, and Thunder, Tim has performed all over the world from Japan to Dubai in venues as diverse as London’s O2 Arena to the World famous Glastonbury Festival. He has also performed on numerous prime time TV music and chat shows, and has worked as the musical director on the hit London West End show ‘Taboo’.

Over the last few years he has also worked as a composer. Tim has worked on the acclaimed BBC2 series ‘Jungle Atlantis’, ‘I Am Ali’ from Passion Pictures, several episodes of BBC2’s Horizon, as well as countless trailers, promos and commercials. He continues to work from his studio on a variety of personal & commercial projects.

“World Without End” is a collection of lush, emotive, cinematic, pieces. A mixture of instrumental and vocal, very much constructed as an album. Expansive soundscapes, unusual textures, layered vocals, sweeping strings and glistening synths with hints of Henry Mancini, Cinematic Orchestra, Pink Floyd, Vangelis and Air – to name just a few!
