Report on music listening habits
A recent news report on people’s music ‘consuming’ habits/preferences reported that Streaming music has reached a record high with use in the UK up over 80% and in the USA up over 92% compared to last year.
But, the rise of streaming is not wiping out everything else in its path. The same report also noted (via BPI) that the decline in CD sales is slowing down and that vinyl sales continue to rise (horrah!) with this years vinyl sales expected to top 2 million – the highest sales since 1994.
